Jamie McAnsh is a remarkable and dynamic figure who has transformed personal adversity into a powerful force for positive change. As an accomplished advocate, public speaker, and athlete, Jamie is dedicated to promoting inclusion within disability and neurodiversity by fostering impactful storytelling and community engagements and working alongside organisations of all sizes to understand the power of creating an inclusive culture.

After being diagnosed with Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS) in 2014, Jamie faced life-altering challenges that left him reliant on a wheelchair. However, his unwavering resilience and determination propelled him to redefine his limitations and pursue his passions with renewed vigor. His journey of transformation began with WheelChair Basketball, where he achieved regional success. This achievement marked the start of a remarkable athletic career that included Wheelchair rugby for Wales, Handcycling the CARTEN 100 as part of the South Wales cycling team, Squash at masters level and even becoming the first person with CRPS to reach Mt Everest BC on crutches.

Jamie’s passion for advocacy led him to share his story widely, inspiring countless individuals across the world. He became a sought-after motivational speaker, captivating audiences with his authentic and uplifting message. In his talks, he emphasises the importance of a positive mindset, the power of perseverance, and the significance of inclusion in society. Through his unique perspective, he empowers others to overcome their personal challenges and rise above adversity.
